For The Ignorant and The Haters

See what I did there? I'm that good.

RD -this thread is for all those who have not read the books, never intend to read the books, and will never even pick them up for perusal. No never. Yea verily.

So, this is the thread where you get to vent all your frustrations with the aforementioned books. That's how much I love you. I'm providing a safe-zone for criticizing something you've never experienced.

I'm the best wife ever.

I don't plan to read them or see the movie. I was invited to go see it tomorrow but the vampire thing is just weird to me. Plus, I'm not a huge pulp fiction fan. Some may say that it's not pulp fiction but I digress. Unless it's a book that I think I would read year after year, I don't waste my time. Now, RD, I won't say that I won't ever ever read them or see the movie. I'm just not interested at this present time.

I have never read, nor ever do I plan to read, Stephenie Meyers' Twilight series.

That said, I have never criticized Twilight. Critiqued, yes, but not criticized. If we were to quantify the amount of negative speech devoted to the series in our household, I think miss kitti would agree that she'd come out ahead.

Also, just because I haven't read it doesn't mean it's not really good. I haven't read War and Peace, The Sound and the Fury, or The Catcher in the Rye, either.

Thank you, and please drive through.

I shudder when I hear the name Edward. I probably won't read the books. I probably will eventually see the movie. I tell my wife I'll read the books one day, but I really doubt I would. I find it easier to procrastinate than to fight over it though. I just realized every sentance in this post starts with I. I am not really that self-centered.

I haven't read the books, and don't plan to, especially now that my brother and mom and some others have said that there are an abundance of cheesy moments and lines in the books. I'm sure I've read much cheesier books in my life, but I have other things on my mind now anyway. WEDDING! T minus 12 days. Boo yah.
